FLAT DOUGH is a ceramic series that is handcrafted by the ceramist Yuyu Chen. The artist ventures beyond convention, crafting ceramics that are not only strikingly unique but also highly practical. Their experimental approach yields organic shapes that challenge traditional notions of tableware, inspiring a fresh perspective on how dishes can enhance both aesthetics and functionality.

Plato Grande
The Plato Grande is a handcrafted white ball clay plate. The high-fired work of art captivates with its organic, dough-like shape.
The rough edges are juxtaposed with the smooth surface of the flat plate. The top of the plate carries a white glaze, which is roughly applied with a brush. The coated side protects the plate from stains. It is perfect for a main dish or a serving plate.

The Jarrón is a handcrafted ceramic vessel made of white ball clay. The vessel was high- fired at 1200 degrees in an electric kiln. The untreated outer shell is juxtaposed with the smooth surface of the inside that carries a white glaze leaving gaps towards the top rim. The waterproof coating allows the vessel to also serve as a flower vase.
