PORCELAIN

THORNED SCRUB

Porcelain is the most prestigious type of pottery due to its delicacy, strength, transparency and elegant white color. Thorned Scrub carries engravings inspired by the Mexican scrubland.

The Thorned Scrub porcelain series was handcrafted by the artist and ceramist master Rodrigo Treviño from Mexico City. These unique pieces are developed for high-quality as well as utilitarian ware. Treviño uses ash glaze derived from oak- and pine wood-ash ingredients to achieve an unique finish. The most striking is the muted engraving on the surface that is inspired by the vegetation of the Mexican scrubland Treviño grew up with.
